THE VILLAGE OF ISLANDIA IS INVITING RESIDENTS TO ATTEND ITS ANNUAL VETERANS DAY CEREMONY
Saturday, November 8, 2025 • 10 a.m.
Veterans Memorial Triangle
(Corner of Old Nichols Road and Johnson Avenue)
Local elected officials and war veterans will be in attendance.
Mayor Allan M. Dorman, who served in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Vietnam War, will be joined by village board members, local war veterans, members of the Col Francis S. Midura Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Post #12144, and local first responders to honor those who served and continue to serve in the armed forces.
Registration is open to the first 60 residents.
Each child must be a resident.
Please Note: This event is open to Village residents only.

Registration is free and open to the first 30 residents.
Reservations required! Each child must be registered.
Ages 5 & up.
