On November 8, Allan M. Dorman, Mayor, Village of Islandia, was joined by Village officials and members of the Col. Francis S. Midura Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #12144 and the Central Islip Fire Department at the Veterans Memorial Triangle to honor those who served and continue to serve our country.
There was also an invocation by Tom Brauner, Chaplain, VFW Post #12144, and the ceremonial laying of roses at the memorial.
