ATTENTION: ROAD WORK

Ronkonkoma Hub Force Main Project

The Suffolk County Department of Public Works (DPW) will continue the Ronkonkoma Hub Force Main Project on Johnson Avenue, starting April 6, 2020.

The work will continue on the west side of Johnson Avenue, just past the entrance of Lakeland Park, and will continue east on Johnson Avenue. Suffolk County has informed the Village the project will be completed by June 2020.

Planned Village Road Work

Planned Village road work will commence on April 13, 2020 on Old Nichols Road from the Islandia Veterans Memorial to the South Service Road.

The project is expected to take approximately two weeks, weather permitting.

All work is classified as essential as per New York State.

Village Court is open on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Judgments are heard beginning at 9 a.m. Local Laws are heard beginning at 10 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. Traffic Violations are heard beginning at 2 p.m. Please do not bring children to Court.

VILLAGE BOARD MEETINGS
In the event of a holiday, meetings will be cancelled.

Board of Trustees
Meets the first Tuesday of the month at 6 p.m. at Village Hall. Work sessions are held the last Tuesday of the month at 6 p.m. at Village Hall.

The Mayor and Trustees comprise the village's Board of Trustees. The Board of Trustees is the village's governing and legislative body. The Board of Trustees also handles certain applications for special permits for commercial and institutional uses, and adopts the village's zoning laws.
