Most Attended Event in Village’s History
On July 20, over 1,000 residents attended the Village of Islandia’s 19th Annual BBQ at Memorial Recreational Field. Village employees and local Boy Scouts served hamburgers, hot dogs, ice cream, soda, and water. Children enjoyed hay rides, games, music, dancing, pony rides, a petting zoo, a water slide, and a blueberry pie eating contest. This was our biggest and most successful event ever, and we are grateful to our wonderful community for making it such a memorable day.
