Village of Islandia Hosts
Veterans Memorial Dedication

In honor of those who served in past wars, the Village of Islandia will have its veterans memorial dedication at Islandia Veterans Memorial on November 7 at 10 a.m.

Mayor Allan M. Dorman will be joined by members of the local Veterans of Foreign Wars, Vietnam Veterans of America chapters and other local organizations. The Long Island Group Civilian Air Patrol - United States Air Force Auxiliary from Islip MacArthur Airport will also be on hand.

Representatives from the local Fire Departments and Politicians will be in attendance. There will also be performances by the Central Islip High School band.

It is imperative that those who wish to attend the ceremony arrive as early as possible, as parts of Old Nichols Road will be closed off. For more information, call 631-348-1133.
