Islandia Village Mayor Allan Dorman addresses the members of the Lakeland Fire Department on September 11 at the Garden of Heroes Memorial Park in honor of those heroes whose lives were lost at the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001. The Lakeland Fire Department is one of three fire departments located within the village’s boundaries.
