Job Listings Website

 

In helping its residents get through this turbulent economy, and making sure that local businesses can fill available positions, the Village of Islandia now offers a new online job listings directory at the link postings.newvillageofislandia.com. The directory was created at the initiative of the Village Board to provide assistance to village residents and businesses in filling job positions and obtaining employment in these difficult economic times.

 

“This online job directory will be an asset to the residents and business owners in this village,” said Allan M. Dorman, Mayor, Village of Islandia. “We know that everyone in this country — including here in Islandia — is struggling. These online job postings will help residents find the job they need, and help business owners fill in much-needed positions.”

 

The village welcomes all submissions to post a job, whether it is a salaried position or household chores. Employers will need to register online in order to post, update and delete their job listings. They can also keep track of the number of people who view their job listings and who send in their applications. All job applications will be sent to the employer’s e-mail address.
