Easter Coloring Contest Winners: April 4, 2009
The village of Islandia has announced its winners of the Coloring Contest that took place at the village’s fourth annual Easter Egg Hunt on April 4. Fifteen winners were named, as the five village board members each chose their three favorites. Each winner received a $10 gift certificate, courtesy of Dave and Busters of Islandia. All the winning entries are posted below.
For the Jellybean Counting Contest, 12-year-old Nayib Perez came the closest without going over, estimating 2,420 jellybeans in the jar. The actual count was 2,472 jellybeans.
